Tourmaline is the gemstone of Brazil and also New England.
In some traditions Tourmaline signifies electricity.

It has several associations with the Charka. It is said to subdue

Green Tourmaline is said to subdue love, home and compassion of the 4th 'heart' charaka, Anahata.
In dreams tourmaline is said to foretell an accident.
